KITURE

Born in Harlem, Kiture has been involved in music since the school days of hymns, chorus, and acapella groups. When he made his first beat on Propellerhead's Reason at age 13, he realized that producing his own compositions was a passion, and stopped at nothing to see his dream become reality. Producing and mixing for other artists for 10 years helped Kiture hone both his creative and technical skills, so that when he dropped his first album Gold Sheen, he knew how to express himself lyrically and make his beats and mixes pop. On HelioTrope, he expanded his vocal range and explored his passionate side, while still maintaining a certain edge. His latest album, Fruition, takes the lessons learned from his previous albums and singles and applies them toward creating a comprehensive, collaborative project, showcasing the highlights of his abilities. Kiture's future is bright off the strength of his persistence alone, and the only direction he can travel is upward.
